This is so inferior to LoL that nobody will even care. RIP Comment by BladeMasterz on T14:06:40-05:00 It started as the worst Blizzard game to that day, but nowadays it lies in casket as the last GOOD blizzard game. I'll be playing every now and then until the day they unplug it, even knowing they won't add anything else. I wish they would have approached it differently to begin with, instead of being the "e-sports competitor to LoL." This news has been a long time coming, but still very sad to hear. Despite having alpha access, I didn't get into the game until the little Graves battle pet promotion with WoD, and then Carbot's HoTs clips got me hooked after 2.0 launched. Heroes is a really great game, and personally I consider it the only MOBA worth playing. If anything they really pushed it kinda like overwatch: they made a huge, big prize tournament without even having a base community yet, they forced it and it failed miserably, but it ain't like they didn't try Comment by Kanariya on T14:00:52-05:00 They made the same mistake with SC2, even though it wasn't as disastrous there. It feels like Blizzard didn't really even try to push the game, and just hoped it'll take off on its own just because it is a Blizzard game and has strong IPs connected to it. Raises the question what are the devs from this teams working on? Comment by Ant343 on T13:59:40-05:00 With more games entering maintenance mode I tried it and I'm a serious WC enjoyer but it just didn't feel as good as League imo. Comment by onefishbluefish on T13:53:27-05:00 I just really need a reason as to why this game was cancelled. I love HOTS Comment by Valestri on T13:53:26-05:00 Don't know why they are so content to let it die. Feels like they could have easily left a small team on this releasing a hero every month or two with occasional content updates and it would have been fine. Blizzard did this game dirty, it's by far the most easy to drop-in fun/casual of the MOBA genre and it has a lot of great maps and great characters. It has been in maintenance mode already for the last two years as the post literally says it has not had any new content in ~18+ months. The only one that could compete with the big names on the genre, truly hurts how Blizz just let it die. I just opened the game yesterday and played a few matches yesterday. Thats so sad :( it truly is a well made game, just took a bit to get thurr and in a competitive market wif dota and lol :( Heroes 2.0 made the game worse, and since then its slowly died off.

Where individual power doesnt matter, cant or win the game itself, only the team mattered. There were lots of Heroes developers at the Arclight Rumble presentation so yeah. Thats so sad :( it truly is a well made game, just took a bit to get thurr and in a competitive market wif dota and lol :( Comment by Sinestessia on T13:38:29-05:00 Hasn't it been in maintenance mode? Besides hero reworks, I think all the content they've released over past year or two was recycled Comment by sikhjatt23 on T13:35:38-05:00 Thank goodness the in-game shop will remain operational Comment by nastywafflesxxx on T13:34:14-05:00Ĭontinue to Rest in Peace Comment by Niche on T13:34:40-05:00 You continue to be one of our most passionate communities, we’re grateful for your continued dedication and support, and as always, we look forward to seeing you in the Nexus.
